Where it fits
- Calorie and macro tracking · rank 01
The tracker to pick when you want weekly calorie targets that follow your actual expenditure, not a static formula.
- Nutrition and meal planning · rank 05
Excellent at the target, silent on the menu. Use it beside a meal planner, not instead of one.
- Workout planning · rank 09
The workouts app programs lifting, but the product people buy MacroFactor for is still the diet coach.
Pros
- Targets move from your own weight trend, so a rough logging week still produces a check-in.
- The price and the bundle are written down in the help center.
- Workouts are now a real second app, not a rumor.
Cons
- Nothing useful is free after the trial.
- It coaches the numbers. It does not build a grocery list or a plate of food.
